Aditya Joshi is a…

Writer. Aditya is currently a story editor on the TV series WE WERE LIARS from Amazon & UTV. He co-wrote episode 105 in Season 1. Previously, he sold and developed SHIKAAR, a limited series about a doomed tiger hunt in colonial India, at FX, and developed projects with Jordan Horowitz (La La Land), Joy Bryant (Parenthood), and Karan Brar, among others.

Director. As a director, Aditya’s work has been featured in film festivals around the world. Aditya co-directed the documentary short, FINDING OUR WILD screened at the the Oscar qualifying American Documentary and Animation Film Festival, Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival, HollyShorts, and LA Shorts before being featured in AMC theaters across the country as part of an “Adventure” film series. Finding Our Wild was produced by REI Co-Op Studios.

His next short, A WEST SIDE STORY STORY, is produced in partnership with Brooklyn Music School and Repertorio Español. It is currently in post-production.

Theatre Artist. On stage, Aditya is produced an Off-Broadway production of the Siglo De Oro classic “La Traición en la Amistad,” which premiered in June of 2023 at Repertorio Español in New York City. He is also the writer a bilingual play, La Tormenta, which he workshopped in Dramatic Question Theatre’s Playtime Series and had its first developmental reading with SolProject at the historic Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre in October 2024.

Actor. Aditya also works in front of the camera as an actor and model, most recently modeling in campaigns for Indian boutique label Kalki Fashions and walking in 2022’s South Asian New York Fashion Week and 2024’s NYRAA Fashion week. As an actor (as well as a writer/director/producer), he is represented by Three Six Zero, Paradigm Talent Agency, and Yorn Levine.

Audio Hobbyist. Aditya also releases music under the moniker “mov,” and hosted the Mediaversity Reviews’ podcast Token Theatre, a show about minority media and the importance of representation on film You can find both his music & podcast on streaming services everywhere.
